• Bridge Inspections
  Surveys of road and rail bridges detailing structural, foundation and scour protection systems for civil engineers and consultants
• Ship Surveys
  We can provide a comprehensive hull survey report for Shipping Companies and Ship Classification Societies – as well as specific
  reports on the condition of propulsion systems, rudders, thrusters etc, as required.
• Outfall Inspections & Intake Surveys
  Inspection of sea outfalls, and report on the condition of upstands and diffusers, as well as the level of scour around the structures.
  The level and detail of each inspection is tailored to the client’s requirements – inspections can be limited simply to visual defect reports, or more comprehensive surveys using non-destructive techniques – such as Underwater Metal Thickness Testing and Magnetic Particle inspections. The use of a Bathycorrometer to determine cathodic protection on steel structures, and inspecting for the affects of Accelerated Low water Corrosion is also often required during comprehensive structure inspections.
• Video Surveys
  Depending on the type of survey, we can provide a range of CCTV systems to suit each individual requirement. When conditions permit, video surveys will often allow the client to view the diving operation live, and pass on their requirements directly to the diver.
• Timber Piles – Cutting/Drilling
  With our air operated chainsaws and hydraulic drilling system, we can cut 12” x 12” timber piles, and drill through 24” thickness of timber in order to bolt 2 piles together.
• Underwater Cutting & Welding
  Using Thermal Arc (Broco) cutting equipment, we can cut sheet steel or tubular steel piles, as required.
• Removal of Sand / Silt
  This can be achieved using standard airlifting equipment, or the use of the Hydrainer System, or even dredge pumps, we can suggest the best system for your project.
• Concrete
  From mass concrete placing to masonry jointing.
• Scour Protection
  The assembly and installation of Gabion mattresses.
• Air Bags
  Totally enclosed lifting bags and standard parachute bags for salvage and for other buoyancy requirements.
• H.P. Water Jetting
  We can carry out H.P. water jetting of surfaces both above and below water. For underwater use we have the availability of an underwater gun with retro jet facilities. Another of our specialties is the cleaning of empty underground reservoirs, where all surfaces and columns are cleaned using H. P. water jetting equipment in a confined space environment.
• Search & Recovery
  Our rigid Inflatable boat is equipped with Echo Sounding equipment and DGPS, and is a useful tool to enable us to carry out this type of work.
• Harbor Wall Repairs
  Repairing and pressure grouting masonry harbor walls.
• Cathodic Protection
  Replacing sacrificial anodes on jetties, wharves and lock gate structures to ensure full protection of the structure is maintained.
• Lock Gate Maintenance
  To ensure that lock gates are operating efficiently, it is often necessary to remove accumulated silt and debris from the sill, apron & gate recesses and inspect sluices and gate seals.
• Outfall & Intake Maintenance
  The fitting of stop-logs or dam boards to Intake Structures for periodic maintenance at Power Stations, Pumping Stations etc, is another example of our ongoing maintenance activities, as is the regular inspection of outfall discharge structures.
• Reservoir Maintenance
  Sumps & intake chambers, such as repairs to penstock gates and band screens.
